My blog wasn't being friendly and wasn't publishing things I wrote. I had to go back to my old template. My hummingbirds disappeared. It's quite sad.

My parents are here for Parent's Weekend. They bought me a desk for my room and some memory for my computer. Almost all of my stuff fits nicely in my room now, which is lovely. We went to see Frank McCourt (the elderly Irishman who wrote Angela's Ashes) speak this evening. He was funny and had a good message about the importance of teaching.

These lyrics by Ben Harper have been echoing in my head lately:

They say time
Will make all this go away
But it's time that has taken my tomorrows
And turned them into yesterdays

Well put.

Sleepy time.
