I subscribe to Magnet Magazine, an indie music magazine out of Philadelphia. With every issue, they send a new music sampler. This month they also sent a compilation from YepRoc Records that included the song "For Your Sake" by The Posies frontman Ken Stringfellow. And I can't stop listening to it.
"Throw your fate into the highest ring/Then you can take a walk and forget everything/If for your sake/Spend eternity waiting to come into view/Of who already sees you, sees you for you"
So good. Nice and moody too.
Do you ever look at a film or photo or painting or hear a song and think, "I could do that...but better," only to struggle with how to actually make that happen? Yeah, me too.
