So the internet has been down at my house since Friday and will continue to be out until tomorrow. It's just another chapter in the week and a half that kept me wondering if I was unwillingly part of some big theater-of-the-absurd production.

I'm writing from the Corona Del Mar branch of the Newport Beach Public Library, with my brand new Newport Beach Public Library card beside me. They're independent of the Orange County Library (of course Newport would have it's own library, with three branches, why shouldn't they?!).

So anyway, I've been reading and writing as much as I can. I just bought and finished "On Writing" by Stephen King. It provided some healthy inspiration.

If I had some music with me I'd go to town and type to my heart's content. But it's quiet (it's the fucking library!) and I'm near the end of what I would consider my lunch break, so I should get back to work.
