So www.drunkenthoughts.com makes it's triumphant return.
Josh had a concert at the Pacific Amphitheater, opening for 311. The show was great and then we came back to the house. Then with the multitude of friends who came back (and Josh for a couple hours before he had to return to the tour bus), we played drinking games and all became increasingly drunk.
I spent a few minutes lying face down on my bed while people came in and out of my room, and I overheard their joys and misgivings and it somehow made me decide to try and finish this entry despite how tired and lonely I've become in these twilight hours.
If you're slightly drunk you can ramble for hours. But if you're as drunk as I am, it takes all of your energy just to get out normalities and make it through a sentence.
As Gary Jules' version of "Mad World" (made popular by the movie Donnie Darko) eminates from my computer speakers and my friends say their goodbyes and/or goodnights to each other in the low volume of the living room, I wish I could iron out those emotional wrinkles they're nonchalantly conveying after consuming the truth serum of beer and circumstance.
