So I'm on Josh's laptop at the house of his band's manager while they are at a business meeting somewhere. Yesterday was my 21st birthday and it was a night of craziness, embarassment, debauchery and of course, lots and lots of fun. I got very drunk and without going into all of the details, there were a few bars (one that was risque), In-N-Out, and lots of friends. I made a lot of drunken phone calls, though I don't know who all I called (which, of course frightens me that I'm going to have to eventually answer to whatever it is I said). It was simply a really fun, crazy, blurry night. I definitely woke up this morning feeling a little under the weather and increasingly embarassing as I recalled the night's events. I talked to my sister about it and she got a funny 5 minute voicemail and as she told me what I had said, I was just glad that I said things that I really felt (albeit drunkenly exaggerated or overstressed) instead of some of the stupid drunk things I don't remember saying yet my friends insist that I did. So now I'm legal, it's pretty cool.

For the 4th of July I went to Las Vegas with Josh (who had just played in San Diego and was going to Vegas anyway, so he came with us), Sean Ridley, and Sean's friends Christine and Debbie. It was a bummer that I was 4 days away from being 21, but it didn't really make that much of a difference. We had some good time drinking and walking the strip. One of the highlights of the night was definitely walking right past Joe Strummer (lead singer of The Clash) in one of the hotels. That was cool. The next day we went to the Warped Tour in Vegas. It was fucking HOT, probably around 110 or 115 degrees. Luckily we were able to go back to Something Corporate's air-conditioned tour bus. Seeing all those bands was cool - my favorite was Flogging Molly. They blend rock/punk with traditional Irish music and it's incredible. The lead singer was drinking Guiness the entire time. Bad Religion was great too. I'll be psyched to see them again on Wednesday in LA.

Phew, I need to go have some more water...
