Break time. I've been working continuously for the past few hours making a PowerPoint presentation about New Found Glory. It's cool to have this responsibility.

Well let's see, I'm house-sitting again. It's easy and gives me some actual income for this moneyless summer. The RPM stuff is coming along nicely, albeit stressfully, considering it's crunch time for the EP. Otherwise life is carrying on as usual. Yesterday was Tish Maher's birthday, and I went out miniature golfing with her and Doug (who is visiting) as well as her sister Mary Kate and her boyfriend Oliver (who are also out visiting). Then we got some massive burritos. I had to leave before the actual drinking began, sadly, because I had to visit the dentist early this morning as well as let the dog in at the house I'm house-sitting.

Adam, Colton, Ian and I (with some rotating others) are bowling on a consistent basis now. Usually it's on Tuesdays because games are 2 for 1. It's great, especially now that I can drink an ice cold Budweiser while I bowl. We play 4 games. The first three are competitive against each other, while the last one is the team game. Our original goal was a combined score of 600, and the closest we had come was 556. However, this last Tuesday we scored 620. That's going to be tough to beat (we've had a better score each time), especially since Colton had 6 consecutive strikes in that game.

Seeing the Warped Tour in LA was a lot of fun. Josh was able to get me a photo pass, so I was able to go backstage and get up close during shows. NOFX was probably the best experience with that. Walking past other musicians was neat too, just to see them up close and in a normal setting where they weren't anywhere near the media or even fans. The weirdest example was the guys from Good Charlotte, simply because I had watched them the night before on the late-night MTV Rock Show that they host (from their tour bus now), and 12 hours after I had been watching them, I was walking right next to them. Also, the night before Josh and I had gone out to dinner with his International Publicist (which makes it sound much more important than it really was) and some other people from London were there as well as Rob and Gabe from Midtown. People have mixed feelings about Midtown, but I thought Rob and Gabe were pretty cool...Rob was really nice and genuinely interested in talking to me, and Gabe spent most of that night talking with his girlfriend but was cool and said hello to me the next day at the Warped Tour.

I'm reading three books right now, but I use the term "reading" very loosely since there hasn't been much of it lately. The books are Walden by Henry David Thoreau (which I've now been reading for a year...), CompaƱero: The Life and Death of Che Guevara by Jorge G. Castaneda, and Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkein (I FINALLY finished The Hobbit).

I got a haircut this past weekend from Anya. She just kinda trimmed it up a bit - it was getting pretty uneven (and I hadn't had a haircut since March). I like it. I still wish I could buzz my head - I love that feeling, but it doesn't look so great on me...

I'm gonna love having a car at school. I can't wait to go exploring on random, wherever-the-road-takes-me drives.
