Of late I've felt as though I'm running with a blindfold on. It's good that I'm moving, but I have no idea what direction I'm going and I'm afraid I will end up somewhere I don't belong. Of course FEAR is nothing new.
We spend our childhoods constantly seeking adulthood but believing that it is eons away. Then suddenly you're grown up and smacked with responsibility. When your mind finally wraps itself around the idea that your childhood is gone, your perspective actively changes. Things actually look different through the same eyes. You can never be young again, but I think the difference between growing lighthearted or growing cold and stingy is the ability to remember what it was like.
Walt Disney may have used the balance of Reason and Emotion as cartoon propaganda for the government during WWII, but at it's core he was right.
Internal Yin and Yang. It may very well be our most attainable form of personal divinity.
