I was pretty sick yesterday, so I didn't go to work. Today I'm better and I'm at work now. During the drive up I was reminded of how getting over a sickness can feel like a re-birth. When you're sick your senses become so dulled with pain, that you cannot fully intake everything around you and life can therefore seem to pass you by as you drift in and out of consciousness. But that first morning, when you're feeling better, things seem to be that much more intense, almost as though you've never experienced them before, but closer to having been away from them for a while. I noticed this morning that I was more interested in what I saw and heard and smelled and felt on the way to work than I had previously. It was pretty neat. I just wish I didn't have to get sick to feel that.

Oh yeah, Minority Report was good...really good.

Hope all of you (whoever you are) are enjoying the pictures.
